The "Apocalypticon" series follows the "hiarious, harrowing, and heartwrenching" journey of Patrick Deen and his best friend, Ben Fogelvee, through a post-apocalyptic America devastated by "M-Day," a cataclysmic event caused by Flying Monkey bombs that liquefied most of the world's population. In Apocalypticon, Patrick convinces Ben to embark on a quixotic quest from Chicago to Disney World, encountering bizarre characters and facing numerous perils, including frog-blood monks and Mayberry lunatics.
The journey continues in Post-Apocalypticon, where Ben, separated from Patrick and believing him dead, undertakes his own perilous quest to retrieve a crucial notebook, confronting figures like Alma the Hun and learning of a spreading Green Fever and a rumored "cure" held by the cult-like Source of Mercy.
In Broken World, Patrick reunites with tenuous allies and continues the search for Ben, uncovering more about the mutated landscape and threats, including the true nature of the dusted creatures and the existence of a real potential antidote.
The saga culminates in Slaughterhouse Run, as a now-dying Ben and Patrick, along with a new group of young Red Caps, undertake the incredibly dangerous "Slaughterhouse Run" across the country to reach Susannah Gustheed in Long Beach, California, who possesses the genuine cure to the Green Fever, navigating deadly gangs and mutated creatures to save Ben's life.

About the Apocalypticon Series
In a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by Jamaican "Flying Monkey" bombs, fellow survivors Patrick and Ben decide to head out on one last adventure before their supplies run out.
They're going to Disney World.
What begins as a madcap road trip through the ruined American South to the happiest place on post-apocalyptic Earth spirals into "a white-knuckle roller coaster ride of laughter, tears, terror, hope, and friendship."
(Also, there are zombie fish.)
Apocalypticon is the series that really puts the "fun" in "fundamental collapse of society!"
